I’m a teacher.

This is a place for my writing and thoughts on education and its practice. I write mostly about my own experiences, but often comment on the state of education in a broad sense. My views here are my own and do not represent any of my affiliate organizations or employers (As Michael Feldman says “anyone who says otherwise is itchin’ for a fight“).

It’s as simple as that. This space is personal, but also public. I’m inviting you here to read, write, and think as well. You shape what I write next. Previously, I wrote a weekly blog about my first year of teaching. Since then, it has developed into a more diverse space containing a broader scope of writing, annotated links, and information.
